Bees, I believe Coach still practices putting a body on a body defensive rebounding at every practice.

believe what you want, but big guys at big time D1 level, and especially the nba go get the ball first and foremost. sure if they have position they will get a body on the guy, but by no means do they turn and look for a guy to box out when a shot goes up. just watch any game that is on television. and this is especially true with syracuse, as that was the original point

In a zone you you need to work extra hard to box out because there isn't always a man right next to you. In man defense, you are right there to put a body on your opponent when the shot goes up. In zone, it is about finding the closest player and using your body. CJ didn't do that on the last possession.

in a zone you rebound area's. how often do you see cj fair or rak looking for a guy to box out? if they feel someone they will put a body on them, but they aren't turning looking for a guy to box out

Stall ball is especially horrible in only a 2 possession game with 3 minutes to go, and you have 4 guys not not moving at all until 8 left on the shot clock, why don't you just have MCW make the outlet pass for Villanova, the whole building knows he's driving right,he's not going left or shooting a jumper. At least Triche has a better j and can drive in either direction. And how bout having Rak setting the pick at the end of regulation instead of DC2, at least he's somewhat of a threat on the roll. Or maybe call a timeout and draw up a long inbounds play with 2.2 left, too bad we don't get any extra points for having 3 timeouts left at he end of regulation.
