Congrats to the SU Men's Ice Hockey team on winning both the regular season and NECHL conference tournament. They have moved on to their second appearance in three seasons in the American Collegiate Hockey Association's National Championship tournament, this year held in Chicago.

#18 SU kicks off their run today at 3pm ET against #15 Illinois. The game will be streamed live at:

I didn't know we had a hockey team. Is that division 2?

ACHA - it's the "club" level that most universities play that is bereft of Title IX implications (and significantly larger than the NCAA). It's comprised itself of Divisions I, II, and III. SU plays at the ACHA D-I level.

Congrats to the boys and coach P again. Team featured one of the leading goal scorers in D-1, JR LaPointe, who transferred from a D-3 program. ACHA at this level is VERY high level hockey, don't be fooled by the "club" status.

They need to fix the team logos on the screen. Also, all orange away sweaters would look better than the dark blue.

Not that I can find. SU took a 2-0 lead, but surrendered 3 straight. Down 3-2 late in the 2nd.
I found it. It's the same link as yesterday. It wasn't working earlier because the game was at 3, not 2.

I gotta get me one of those jerseys, now ... :)

I'd love to see SU have a men's hockey team (non club), and a baseball team. Title IX is another good idea gone bad.
