Ville refuses to cut nets

Yeah, unrelated to Ware's injury. Well known that Pitino was not going to cut nets today if they won. He told his team Natl Champ nets only.

Typical I guess. Pitino has been on ESPN and discussed that he/the team had 4 goals for the season: 1) finish first in the BE. 2) win the BET 3) get to the FF 4)win NC. Now it seems to me that when you meet your goals, you claim your reward to acknowledge your accomplishments. Not claiming the nets is downplaying your accomplishment. If they are saying that a NC was there only goal, then obviously Pitino was not entirely truthful to the press. Its like UCLA has no league championships or regional championships trophies displayed and firing BH for not winning any despite a good NCAA record. To me its a real slap in the face to the players and coaches from those teams.
