All this shows me is how In the dark you are about what unc has or has not had to endure the past 9 years. Also, I may not be remembering correctly but wasn't syracuses issue a strictly basketball one? If so I can assure you that's probably more egregious than anything unc basketball has actually done-which is what I'm referring to when I talk about this stuff-unc basketball.

Until proven otherwise, that's all anybody has to go on.
And you continue to refer to proof of your take on things, while providing exactly zero evidence of same.

SU went thru an extremely long, drawn out NCAA investigation, which impacted our program and school for nearly a decade, and continues to do so now, and will for many years to come.
Then, after all of that digging, the NCAA found what was the equivalent of a few jaywalking violations and unpaid parking tickets, and threw the book at us for it, to set an example; since SU is not a blueblood program like UNC, Duke, or UK.

Meanwhile, UNC keeps recruiting and playing at the highest levels, and appears to be about to skate on charges that, on the face of them, seem many multiples more damning, egregious, and ingrained than anything SU ever did.

You come off like a Ped State Joe-Pa truther. And without any evidence to the contrary, we'll likely regard your posts in that manner.

UNC had fake classes to keep athletes eligible. For at least a decade. It should lose all of it's academic accreditations and be expelled/suspended from the NCAA.

Well, it's because it's troublesome that this is a story a supposed "reputable" newspaper is running totally denigrating unc on a weekend the team should be celebrated. It's disgusting. But as I said-unc will win on and off the court and the abc'ers will have to suck a fat ****.

You guys are right-I'll go enjoy the final four. I hung out here during the season and posted a few times I just happened to come here to check on the hopkins stuff and saw this thread -the story has been posted everywhere
