Have already seen a ton of people complaining about the uniforms for Saturday. It's a tribute to military in a symbolic way. Christ, people, of all the things we can complain about with this team, it shouldn't be their choice to honor the armed forces.

At least they suspended the crew for the Miami-Duke debacle. Really, though, some of the calls (and non-calls) going against SU's favor have been at such critical times this year, it's really tiring.

I love how folks want Shafer out and think Al Golden, he who got beat 58-0 by Clemson with Miami's talent, is the answer. The delusion becomes hysterical after a while.

After watching the Temple/ND game, I imagined the Temple QB to be an accurate comparison.

Howard is going to be a lucky charm for this team, I'm hoping. Last year when the offense got stagnant, there really wasn't an option for someone to create and make a skilled pass. If that's Howard's game, he'll be a fine remedy to some of those problems.

I think Lydon is really lucky to have his experience with the younger USA teams. That experience is going to pay many dividends in the upcoming season. The SU 3s and 4s the next few years are going to more skilled than we've seen since Carmelo.
