Is it Red Barber? After his retirement, he used to be on NPR and would tell stories from his home in Florida. The announcer sounds like him.

Looks like Jack Drees and Forest Evashevski. Lindsey Nelson and Red Grange did the first game SU played in the Cotton Bowl in 1957, Jim Brown's last game as an Orangeman.

Think Tipps may have done the SU - TCU Cotton Bowl (per the link). Definitely sounds like Drees.

Think Tipps may have done the SU - TCU Cotton Bowl (per the link). Definitely sounds like Drees.

Drees' voice is definitely higher pitched and more nasal and he isn't "poetic" in the way Tipps is.
