The schedule looks tough to me. At this point, the only game in which they will definitely be favored is Wake Forest. The Pitt and BC spreads will obviously depend on what transpires in the interim.

BC is playing their own type of hard nosed football, that should be a good one with most likely a lot on the line for both teams.

I think it's 5 winnable games with one game we might just have to take our lumps in.

Not sure why we couldn't go 5-1. We all keep judging teams based off how they played other teams but as we saw NC State/Clemson that doesn't mean anything.

I can see us finishing either 3-3 or 4-2 depending on how well we can contain Stefon Diggs for Maryland. If we can do that I think we go 4-2 down the stretch.

All seem to be playing well overall.

This is not the big east kids, this is good, real football. Not a clunker in the bunch.

I think BC will have the type of season we had in 2011. Strong start, fizzle as depth issues mount.

I think we're going to continue to play .500 ball down the stretch, unless Terrel Hunt regains his form and starts to generate more offensive production through the air.

The good news is that .500 gets us to a bowl.

And if a couple of things fall into place for us, we could get to 7 wins. Winning on the road yesterday in a 50-50 game was a huge boon to our bowl aspirations.

I'm not convinced any game on the schedule is a definite win or even a "should win" game. After every team left on the schedule watches the game tape and sees that we have no WR's and our QB can't accurately make many throws, teams will be stacking the box. I like our offensive line but it's not so good that we can run the ball all game with no passing game. We got lucky saturday, their QB play was just as horrendous and our D came up big in stopping them most of the time when it counted.

I just don't see how we win a game without throwing the ball. I"m not saying we won't win a game, I expect we win 2 more. I just don't see any of these games being "we should win" type of games. Will any offenses we have left to play, have just as terrible QB play?

Our run D and front 7 are really good. They can keep us in most games. Pitt's WR scare me - but they have let Savage absorb like 12 sacks in two games.

I think teams will a.) have a hard time with our running game (2 rb's and Hunt) OR b.) make life hard on the RB and force Hunt to make the throws. Can McDonald take advantage of the stacked box and scheme our WR open?

So you think we "should" win 2 of the roadies, the Ga Tech game where we are 10 point underdogs? We certainly can win, but Ga Tech and Maryland don't belong in the "should win" category. Wake belongs in that category and I would be more inclined to put Pitt and BC in the "should win" category seeing they are at the Dome.

Other than the loss at FSU, I won't name teams, but I think we go 4-2 in our remaining six games assuming no major injuries.

Still, as already pointed out, 6-6 will get us bowling and 4-4 in the ACC which isn't a bad start for a new coaching staff, new QB, and below average WRs.

BC and Wake we will be decent favorites over. Pitt should be a toss up, but I like our match up being able to cause Savage problems with the blitz. FSU isn't happening, but GT is a good match up even though we will be under dogs, and who knows about Maryland with their qb banged up again. 6 wins is very attainable, I will be disappointed if we don't get there, especially coming off of this win.

I think it's going to come down to the BC game being a very important win. Good news is they have a lot of tough games behind them and they gained a lot of experience.

should win: wake forest and Pittsburgh
toss up games: Maryland, Georgia tech and Boston College

Syracuse in recent history has played surprisingly well on the road. Why? I don't know.
