2013 FBS Private School Rankings - Week 5

I've been busy the last two weeks, so little time for this series of posts.

The latest 2013 FBS Private School Football Rankings can be found here.

Only five private schools received votes this week. Syracuse is slowly rising in the various computer polls.
The Legends Poll returned last week, while it'll still be a few more weeks before the Harris Poll makes its appearance.

There was room in the spreadsheet for one more ranking. What would you like to see instead of Annar?

I'm not against the inclusion of Annar, I'm mystified by the Annar Rankings themselves. Stanford 31?! Notre Dame 71?! Northwestern 75?! How are we 39 and undefeated Northwestern, who beat us soundly, is 75? Are the Annar Rankings included in the BCS formula?

Annar rankings are not part of the BCS formula. These rankings are based strictly on yardage statistics. They've been doing this since 2000. Syracuse ended up being ranked 18th in 2012, 12th in total offense. 2005-2008 had Syracuse near the bottom... 117th in 2007.

In short, it's just another way of looking at statistics.
