Along with the President and Governor will be three of the greatest players ever to play for Syracuse. Hope everyone can come and meet them at the Honest Tea booth the first 5 days of the fair (Thurs, Aug 22 to Mon, Aug. 26) John will not be there Thursday or Monday.

SYRACUSE BASKETBALL LEGENDS PEARL WASHINGTON, LAWRENCE MOTEN, JOHN WALLACE TO MAKE APPEARANCE AT NEW YORK STATE FAIR
Three of Syracuse University Basketball's all-time greats and most popular players ever to rock the Carrier Dome will make an appearance at the New York State Fair courtesy of Honest Tea and benefiting locally based Jonathan Cancer Fund.
Honest Tea, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, will host the players in their booth while the beverage company gives out samples of their bottled organic tea.
Lawrence Moten, the school's and Big East All-time leading scorer and Pearl Washington, one of the most electrifying players in Big East history, whose jersey hangs in the Dome's rafters, are scheduled to be available all 5 days. John Wallace, who willed his team to the 1996 NCAA championship game is scheduled for Friday and Saturday and possibly early Sunday.
All three Syracuse stars have fond memories of the Fair from their undergraduate days and as always looking forward to connecting with their second hometown.
The time slots scheduled are 1 to 3pm and 7 to 9 pm daily which are subject to change. Please check www.facebook.com/suhoops for updates.
Autograph and photo proceeds to benefit the Jonathan Cancer Fund (www.jonathancancerfund.org) and their Sept. 22 Clam Bake. Color 8 x 10s of each player will be available for fans' convenience for $10 in addition to Nike basketballs and a souvenir New York State Fair memory card with players photos.
Pearl, Poetry, and "J-Dub" are also scheduled to make an appearance during the Fair's 6pm parade representing Syracuse University in their caravan. Date(s) to be announced.
