"Wins and losses can be deceiving."
Credibility = lost, and take away their ballot. In the end, winning and losing is all that matters. You should be rewarded in the polls for victory, and in the same context suffer the consequences of defeat. Looking good in a loss is still a loss. I'd rather look ugly and come away with a W.
