I didn't see one of these so if there is one please delete this thread.

9-4 if injuries and the refs/bounce of a ball go their way. 5-7 at worst.
I see the same range of outcomes.

I'll split the difference and say 7-5 (plus a bowl game W to get to 8-5)

Optimist: 7 wins + 1 bowl win
Insane schedule: 5 wins + 1 bowl win

6-6 Road schedule is just too difficult

5-7

W Fri, Sep 1 Central Connecticut State
W Sat, Sep 9 Middle Tennessee
W Sat, Sep 16 Central Michigan
L Sat, Sep 23 LSU TBA
L Sat, Sep 30 * NC State
W Sat, Oct 7 * Pittsburgh
L Fri, Oct 13 * Clemson 7 pm
L Sat, Oct 21 * Miami TBA
L Sat, Nov 4 * Florida State
L Sat, Nov 11 * Wake Forest TBA
L Sat, Nov 18 * Louisville TBA
W Sat, Nov 25 * Boston College TBA

The toss up game is the Wake Forest & Pitt games that could go either way. I say we win one of those.

7-6. Cuse hasn't won as an underdog very much in the last 15 years, even as close underdogs. Getting one will be a huge step forward.

I was paging through Phil Steele this morning, and incredibly our game against Middle Tennessee will be the first time we will be favored in an FBS game since 2015 vs. Central Michigan (when Dungey was knocked out).

I'll say 6-6, wins against, CCSU, MTSU, Central Mich, BC, Wake, and upset NC State. On another note, I'm surprised how many "experts" have us at 4-8 with a loss to Middle Tennessee. I see that as a high scoring game, but there is no way we should lose to them. Maybe I'm just wearing my August orange colored glasses though.

5-7 to me is the most logical prediction and one i'm leaning on. I'll be doing cartwheels if we make all 3 of the early on 3 foot putts against the cupcakes. After that, it's a game of retention. The team hasn't built up enough top 25 depth to withstand the beatings we'll take from FSU/LSU/Clemson/Miami. Those teams are big and deep. If we can get through the gauntlet w Dungey upright, we'll have a great shot at over shooting 5-7 but it's a tall task.

5-7. Wins ccst, mtsu, directional Michigan, wake, bc

6-6 and the ACC slipped SU into the Gasparilla Bad Boy Mowers Beef O'Brady MagicJack Bitcoin St. Pete Bowl to fill a slot for CUSA. We played UConn which somehow had 6 wins too. We defeated them 44-5 to finish 7-6.

6-6 (7-6)

We probably beat them 7 out of 10 times at home. Which means we are the better team and will be favored, but we have to play a complete game in order to win. They're not Central CT State where we just go through the motions and dominate with superior athletes.

5-7. I want to believe, but I just can't yet. Still, it's a game better than last year.
