2019 ACC coach rankings: Dabo Swinney leads the way with many up-and-coming talents in tow

Of those, I would take Dino. Dabo wouldn’t do as well as Dino given our situation and resources, IMO. I think the guys Dabo needs to make it work wouldn’t work at our market point.

Silly. Mendenhall, you can perhaps make a case for if you include his BYU years. But he's 16-22 at UVa. And except for 1 year when the Coastal was awful and they got blown out in the ACCCG, I never understood the Cutcliffe love. He's 67-72 at Duke. Not saying Dino is the 2nd best coach in the ACC (well, he is, but...) but putting these two mediocre coaches ahead of him (I know, Dino is 18-19 in his time at Syracuse) just smacks of name familiarity and no research.

Gbo I think he is saying Dabo wouldn’t be able to deal with our contractual limits as aposed to what Clemson can spend on Dabo. I also think part of that is Dabo making the school money and they reciprocate it back to him. I maybe off but not bye much.

Anyone outside here who doesn’t pay attention to anything, like a roster rebuild, sure. But I’d rather ignore the lazy.

Oh and you also just described Mendenhall.

In the end, who cares, it’s just a dumb opinion ranking. We’re all happy with our guy so that’s all that matters.

I would assume he means the financials. Cuse isn't gonna pay for 30 assistant coaches and some of the highest paid coordinators in cfb.
