2019 Yankees Thread...

Didi is also the only Lefty power bat in the lineup, assuming Greg Bird amounts to nothing. They said on the broadcast yesterday the Yankees had the most right handed ABs of any other Yankees team in history.

I also love him in the clubhouse.

I would rather trade one of the OFs like Frazier for pitching
What could we get for Bird?

A ham sandwich?

Who says no?

Voit got squeezed by the only Seattle representative Dan Vogelbach
One can make the case that Vogelbach has had the better season, but they are close. Pick your favorite stat:

DRC+: Vogelbach 140, Voit 129

wRC+: Vogelbach 143, Voit 140

wOBA: Vogelbach .377, Voit .382

OPS (for dinosaurs): Vogelbach .898, Voit .901

They are pretty close. I don't think Voit got screwed.

Disappointing to hear, but glad he is taking time off to take care of himself. I have noticed his voice being off for many games this season, a couple times it seemed as if talking was an effort. IDK.

So the Yankees just signed a mutant teenager nicknamed The Martian.

A very sad day for all the smart Yankee fans, not so much for the vocal minority.

It’s very sad. People who don’t appreciate his work over all this time probably hate everything else about their day and their life.

He was rough on Saturday. Don’t mean to be discriminating against the aging but made me think that something was wrong.

We walked with the Kings of England, but we can't beat the Kings of Queens. :(

Mets bullpen has been the worst in baseball to, surprising we couldn't tack on any runs.

That was the trip he should’ve stayed home.

It was tough enough for elite athletes in their prime to manage, them throw in 9 hours of baseball. Oomph.

The NFL gets there a week early and everyone gets the next week off.

No joke, that trip could’ve killed him.

As I said, I have thought he sounded off the past few weeks, I even said something to my wife while we were listening in the car the other day before his time off was announced. Hope he can recoup and return for the second half. I know you all don't agree, but I love listening to him announce games. Its fun and relaxing IMO.
