I think they got him because of the uncertainty with Judge and Stanton and wanted another power bat. I would like to see Frazier up here though, a bit mind-boggling he hasn't been called back up.

Wasn’t Frazier 2nd or 3rd in homers before we went down? And that includes the two weeks on the IL for his ankle.

I think Frazier is the Yankees Andrew Benintiendi I don’t get why if he is healthy he isn’t playing over Tauchman or Maybin.

He's not Benintendi in the field.

Tauchman and Maybin have both played over their heads at the plate, so they're riding it out and letting Frazier play every day in Scranton.

As for Encarnacion, you saw it against the Sox why they wanted him. Came cheap, and always seems to hit them well.

It's also the reason they wanted to keep Happ, although I never really bought into those numbers. Not with 3 RH bats as deadly as Betts, Boegarts, JD. I would have gone after Charlie Morton instead. That was the real mistake.

Morton and Keuchel, two guys who gave the Yankees fits, and it doesn't appear they made a serious pursuit at either.

Robbie Ray against that right handed Houston Astros lineup is asking for batting practice.
The Steinbrenner boys letting the Atlanta Braves outbid for Dallas Keuchel by 1.5 million is something George would have never allowed.
