I don’t think it’s all that weird.

He looked like a little leaguer at times trying to field the ball. Meanwhile Tauchman and Maybin are doing things they’ve never done before and will probably never do again.

You're shortchanging Maybin. He's been a pretty good major leaguer for a while, just looked like he was on the downside of his career. Heck, we may still be.

It's just weird to me. As an organization, they don't mind carrying some dudes that can hit but have no glove.

If he is being punished, I wonder what if it’s because of his reaction to being sent down. I would think he’s said enough Our Fathers and Hail Mary’s by now.

I read somewhere that if they wait until September to bring him up that gives them an extra year of control.
