OK, so Yankees now have 9 guys on the DL. (8 if you discount Ellsbury), Does this seem excessive? And it's not just this year, as this seems to be an ongoing problem with the Yankees. Is there some underlying problem that is causing this or are they just being too cautious? Maybe they don't take conditioning during Spring Training seriously. Or maybe it's too much weight training? Idk, but it sure is frustrating to have 1/3 of the starting lineup and 40% of the pitching staff sitting out with injuries.
