I'd say so...I like Scott Fuchs too. Either should be a positive.Under the circumstances, Herb Hand would have to be considered a home run, no ?

I’d prefer Fuchs or someone with a track record of developing good OL players from mid level 3 stars. Lot different when given high 3 and 4 star kids to work with which will not happen at su.I'd say so...I like Scott Fuchs too. Either should be a positive.

Elliott signed a 3-year deal. Clemson now has 2 of the 3 top paid assistant coaches.
Nah, Mike "Michael" Locksley runs a tight ship.Seems like a lateral move. Also seems like Maryland is starting to fall apart.
I don’t quite understand how a “style of play” suddenly makes an OL coach - particularly one who has demonstrated competence - suddenly incapable of adjusting.
Dino give him a call!
Offensive coordinators bringing in a new scheme like to bring coaches who know it intimately. There are going to be a lot of new plays, new nomenclature for plays, different approaches and expectations in a new scheme.I don’t quite understand how a “style of play” suddenly makes an OL coach - particularly one who has demonstrated competence - suddenly incapable of adjusting.
Do you feel that mattock will be the pick because of his familiarity with the system?Offensive coordinators bringing in a new scheme like to bring coaches who know it intimately. I think it is helpful if you don’t have to teach all the coaches and all the players.
I expect he is the first choice for Dino and Sterlin. Now Mattox is a Texas guy, coaching in Texas. He is doing well for an up and coming program. I am sure we can offer more money but he and his family might want to stay there.Do you feel that mattock will be the pick because of his familiarity with the system?

Probably going to have to wait until a replacement for Cavanaugh is announced. Then they will probably announce who is coaching which units this year.Do we have anyone coaching Special Teams yet? I figured that would get put on an existing coach.
Would nice to get some word but there is no rush. Spring ball will probably not start until April. Recruiting for 2022 just started. Any portal guys will probably be May or later. DB can take is time to make the pick. It needs to be a home run hire. His last few coaching picks have been good hoping the trend continues.Hopefully we will hear something from Syracuse this week on the hire. Regular signing day has passed, it has been implied that the change at oline was very well accommodated by Dino which to me suggests there was lead time for Cav here. Gotta believe either a coach has been selected or final discussions are taking place at this point. Though it's possible that a guy like Western Kentucky's Goff coming free might have added one last call before making a decision. Either way I am really looking forward to who they are bringing in to coach. As critical as a decision Dino may make this year.
Last year, spring ball started March 8. With no spring break, and the late return,, ts possible they push it out 1 week. My guess is March 7, or 14th.Would nice to get some word but there is no rush. I figure with not starting until the 8th that’s three weeks later than normal. Coaches are going to not want to cut short s&c training. DB may also want to see how many potential players could get vaccinated if they choose and the shots are available.Last year, spring ball started March 8. Is there any news on potential O line coaching candidates?
A name that brings a whole other layer to the idea of male fragility.I guess Minnesota was too cold for Glasscock?
