2020 NY Football Giants Season...

Nah I got two. Two tall boy PBR
Wait one second. You wanted the Giants to tank. Remember. I have told you before. Don't talk. It will always come back to bite you.

Circumstances changed we were 0-5 and 1-7 then we won 4 in a row. All time bad division this year. Crazy year. This is our division.

I'll stick up for CR. Most people thought Big Blue was in the "Tanking for Trevor" game. It didn't take long for the perspective to change.

Thanks Pal. Exactly. Nobody saw this coming. We have a bright future (Still not sold on Joe Judge though) but Gettleman has earned his job and Daniel Jones we can win with. We have playmakers on offense especially when Saquon is back next year, O-Line is improving. Defense is legit (Just missing a number 2 corner, and pass rushing DE)

Incorrect. 6 of those 7 losses were competitive games and 4 were right to the final play. We were bound to start winning some close ones.

yeah, there was no reason to want to tank. None. Plus, we were never going to be bad enough to get the 31 pick. The Jets and the Jaqs are in a class by themselves.

What do you need to see from Judge to be sold?

We were bound to start winning some close ones.
We were but it was to be determined when that was going to happen. Neither Danny Dimes nor Judge had anything on their resume at that point to show the wins were coming this season. I thought they needed a traditional training camp. The worst thing for a brand new NFL coach was to start their career in the middle of a pandemic. I give Judge a ton of credit what the G-Men have done.

When we hired him the only HC job he had interview for wasn't in the NFL it was college (Southern Miss) that's a big deal for me. Also the unit he was in charge with the Patriots (Special Teams/WR) was their worst unit. Should I go on ? He wasn't on anybody interview list for a NFL HC job.

He has a lot to show me.

You didn’t answer his question.

Building a consistent winning culture. Playoffs in his first year is great phenomenal if we continue on the path we are this season (But Ben Mcadoo did the same) build us into the Patriots. Remember he will be linked with Matt Rhule who had an impressive HC resume before landing his NFL job.

What on his Resume qualified him for the HC position of one of the historic franchises in the NFL ? Just saying.

Looks like the actual football people were right, and the guy who is always wrong on a message board about everything, was wrong. Go figure.

Shurmur had a ton of experience. I get wanting to check those boxes, but it’s a non starter for conversation now. He can’t correct his prior experience. He’s the HC now.

I saw the differences from an alignment/assignment/technique standpoint immediately. There’s a ton of former HC’s on our staff. We’re one of the most well coached teams in the league right now.

Defense is probably top-5 in the league right now, top-5. They were dead last 10 months ago.

This roster is so young, I believe by age the second youngest in the NFL.

The job this staff has done this year, and I’m not just talking about leading the NFC East and the current win-streak, has been terrific.

We’re in better hands now than we’ve been since Coughlin. The defense is playing its best football in 8 years and our young OL is bullying people. And btw, we’re down our all-world RB, using a career backup whose putting up career numbers and any other RB on the waiver wire who didn’t put on 40 lbs. during quarantine.

Needle’s straight up for me.

Always wrong ? Okay Buddy. I will say this as much as I'm enjoying this run and I'm fully on board (Never left always be a fan just circumstances were different as per what our goals should have been) I'm going to be wondering what If when Trevor Lawrence is that generational QB to come into the NFL and we have to watch him with the JETS of all teams right in our market, and I'm going to say I told u so. But lets enjoy this season we have going for us.

The Jets will likely screw him up like they do everything else. Takes a team and organization to win.

You didn't even want Lawrence, you wanted this back in September...

I'll just make one thing clear. If we are bad enough for the number 1 pick (Which I don't think we will be) but if we are. I don't want Trevor Lawrence. Trade the pick for a mighty haul. Just think what we could get from some desperate team like the Jets for a generational QB and a desperate franchise and base. I'm talking 3 first round picks plus.

Because I was all on board with Daniel Jones, Then I lost faith and saw we could completely clean house GM/HC/QB trio draft Lawrence bring in Dabo as HC/GM. Now I'm on board going forward especially with Daniel Jones at QB. Like I said we are a number 2 corner and a pass rushing DE away from being Super Bowl contenders next year.

What, on ANYONE's resume, qualifies them to "build us into Patriots'?

Which is what you said.

See, this is why I tell you never to talk out loud. Build us in to the Patriots????? Is that all? You just can't be serious. This has to be a put on.

To be hired with that lack of a Resume you better be you believe he will be Bill Belichick. So yeah especially with the other HC choices who were out there with HC experience and including some with Super Bowl rings. His only other HC interview was Southern Miss do u get that ? There has been reason to be a skeptic. That's all I'm saying.

No. You have said a lot more than that. Most of it nonsense. first, you wanted the Giants to tank with a bunch of games left. Now you say that he has to build a patriot type dynasty. With free agency, that is close to impossible. The packers and the Steelers don't happen now. the pats were a fab 4 type of once in a lifetime type thing. If judge is good, and we don't know how good, yet. I will be happy with a team that contends every year. I really haven't since the Giants ever do that and I have been a fan for 54 years
