The problem keeping him is no new recruits coming in, needed to get a new coach and staff in place this year. Now whomever they get is at least 2 years behind everyone else in recruiting talented players.

Unfortunately without a new coach, no incoming high school players from 2022, and possibly none in the class of 2023. It might be 2 or 3 years before they are able to recruit new high school players.
