Yedlin is a sub you bring in when the back 4 have been tired and you want speed to take advantage of tired legs.
Starting him is dumb. He can’t play 90.

There’s no way he’s better than Reggie Cannon at this point. Or playing Dest at RB and Robinson at LB.

I always thought his speed was the reason he played (his touch not very good imo).

If he no longer has the wheels then he’s a big risk at LB

I honestly wish we had a few more guys like that sometimes. It’s the only chance for some of these teams is to make the game as ugly as possible.

I feel Iike I am watching the soccer Equivalent of the Longest Yard. With these chain fences.

I honestly wish we had a few more guys like that sometimes. It’s the only chance for some of these teams is to make the game as ugly as possible.

Not me.

Those guys just encourage the crappier opponent to take more liberties with your higher skilled teammates.

I wish it were more like hockey where a physical guy enforces respect but to me it only begs more physical hits on teammates in soccer.

(Probably because there’s no risk of fighting)

I agree that the mentality you want is best displayed in a striker or attacking midfielder.

The kind of guy who knows he’s a target and still makes the defense think twice about getting testy.
