Boone said Joey Gallo is “feeling quite a bit better” after treatment. He could be available off the bench today. Estevan Florial is with the #Yankees today for bench coverage.

The #Yankees plan to activate Luis Severino early this week and will have him pitch out of the bullpen. Severino could handle outings of one to three innings, Aaron Boone said.

Boone says the plan is to have Gerrit Cole pitch on Friday in the Boston series opener. Cole would be lined up to pitch the middle game in Toronto the following Wednesday, then would either be on 5 days rest for the Wild Card Game, or could be on 3 days rest in an emergency for Game 162 if needed.
