Johnny Vander Meer can rest easy.
I read this too fast and thought you wrote “knock out.” I assumed you were referring to German and Chapman. OopsWhy can't he just knock up his wife like every other Yankee?
That's baseball, Donnie.Sterling is the only person I have heard call it a “grounds rule double.” I’m not complaining and I don’t care if it is correct. It is just odd.
Im going to complain. First the YANKEE training strength condition team strikes again. Second where was the offense Matz had over a 5 era coming into tonight.

Clearly, they were lost tonight without you there to inspire them with your unconditional support.Im going to complain. First the YANKEE training strength condition team strikes again. Second where was the offense Matz had over a 5 era coming into tonight.
Maybe if you bought a few more $15 beers, the Yanks could hire better people.
Cressey and his team are the best in the business. You missed what I was saying all season last year. If you fire Cressey it sends a message to the next person you bring in. We fired the best in the field because he didn't do his job and keeping players healthy million dollar players healthy. So we will fire you if you don't do your job. Some of you must be really disconnected to how business works in this generation people work better if they are in fear of losing their jobs. I'm tired of Yankee injuries.
1. Why would you fire the "best in the business"? The Dodgers or the Red Sox wouldn't hesitate to hire this guy the minute you let him go.
2. If the "best in the business" can't prevent all injuries, why would you think some "dollar store trainer" would do a better job?
Because he is not doing his job. Injuries pile up season after season. Let those teams grab him. Also you threat to fire him and his staff gets them working harder. Also maybe since the players don't want too see this people who they have built a relationship with get fired they stay healthy and play thru injuries. It's about setting a culture. One season the Yankees started out with a bunch of hamstring injuries and George fired the strength and conditioning trainer they had just brought in that spring.
