And we're shipping up to Boston with a rested bullpen.
Leaving a lot of runners on base today. Hope it doesn't come back and bite 'em late.
The hitting is coming around now. This team collectively draws a lot of walks and sees more pitches on average than any team in the AL. I see many runs in their future. Let's keep it rolling into Boston.I thought I heard an announcer say a couple games back NYY was last in the AL in cashing in RISP's. And bad baserunning was only part of that. Gotta be better days ahead.
I heard them say the same thing. Also, I believe they lead the leagues in hitting into double plays.I thought I heard an announcer say a couple games back NYY was last in the AL in cashing in RISP's. And bad baserunning was only part of that. Gotta be better days ahead.
Making contact is sometimes a bad thing.I heard them say the same thing. Also, I believe they lead the leagues in hitting into double plays.

Earl Weaver used to tell his players something similar.A friend of mine said when there were 2 strikes his manager used to yell to him "if you're gonna hit into a double play, then strike out!"
That would be the 'A' lineup.
Hard to script a worse start. Have to hope some rotation help is on the way in the near future.
Terrible call by Nevin to send himYankee base running, sigh.
