That's not even close to being true.Sad part is that he looks twice the player Frazier looks.

Are you saying Frazier looks good out there? That's not even close to being true.
He brings way more to the table than Gardner at this point, even hitting below .200Are you saying Frazier looks good out there?
Take a look at WAR this year.He brings way more to the table than Gardner at this point, even hitting below .200
Both negative, through less than half a season. I'd still roll with Frazier and not continue to jerk him around and bury him on the bench for long stretches.Take a look at WAR this year.
With all due respect, WAR has never done anything to actually win a baseball game.Take a look at WAR this year.
Frazier makes a diving catch about once a month, but other than that he might be the shakiest outfielder in all of baseball. Both negative, through less than half a season. I'd still roll with Frazier and not continue to jerk him around and bury him on the bench for long stretches.
Gardner is 0.2, Frazier is -0.8 (from fangraphs). Needless to say, they are both terrible. Both negative, through less than half a season. I'd still roll with Frazier and not continue to jerk him around and bury him on the bench for long stretches.
That sounds like something Suzyn Waldman would think is clever enough to say on-the-air. You should send it to her. With all due respect, WAR has never done anything to actually win a baseball game.
Yogi Berra said it to me once. That sounds like something Suzyn Waldman would think is clever enough to say on-the-air. You should send it to her.
Why can't the Yankees ever get pitchers like Adam Ottavino?
You missed the earlier joke.Or Nathan Eovaldi?

Yeah, the Ottavino trade was all-about staying under luxury tax threshold.I just heard today what the Ottavino trade was. The Yankees sent Ottavino and a prospect to the Red Sox. That was the trade. The yanks had to include a prospect for the Red Sox to take Adam's contract. As a Red Sox fan, i wish they made a few more trades like that.
I think the Red Sox, Yanks and Cubs are sending a message about the luxury cap by staying under it. There will be a new agreement this year and those teams are costing the players money by staying under.Yeah, the Ottavino trade was all-about staying under luxury tax threshold.

Which requires me to bring out this golden poldie. With all due respect, WAR has never done anything to actually win a baseball game.
