2022-23 Potential Roster

Yes. ;)

Muchas Gracias. Also wow if we could add a true C to handle the paint as noted lookout. Was watching highlights from the UB vs UT first round game last night. Honestly looked if UB had a little more size they win that game.

If Buffalo had Hyman on that team to go with Fair they would have won. Those 2 together no one is guarding them one on one. Syracuse is going to see a lot of junk defenses this year.
The young lady Wooley is a good shooter from 3, and should get a lot of open looks.

Interesting that FLJ picked up another guard. Last spot has to be a center or 6’4 forward.
Emily Kiser of Michigan 6-3 just put her name in the portal. Played alongside Hillman, and defended the post position. She would be a GR good defender and rebounder. That would be a great last addition.

Roster still seems a bit unbalanced- maybe one or two more players enter the portal, opening up additional scholarships for center/forwards.

Portal closed May 1, so no more entries. Also, women's rosters tend to be guard heavy. So Carolina had 10 guards last year on roster.

I do think if we use this last roster spot though it should be for the C/F.

Or we pocket the last scholarship and use it next year.

With the exception of Asia Strong, everyone else will still have eligibility remaining to play in 2023-24 (if they choose to use their Covid year).

Most teams in college tend to play 3 guards and 2 bigs. Even in the WNBA it seems to be the same idea.
