2022 NFL Thread

I’m at the point where I will not be surprised if Buffalo wins the Super Bowl or if they lose their next game. They’re a very good team playing against very good teams from here on out.

NFC i’m not really sure about anyone either. Purdy didn’t look very good this week but the rest of that team made it look so damn easy it might not matter what they have at QB. Eagles looked great most of the year but Hurts has been out a few weeks now. Cowboys have generally looked good too but not totally trustworthy yet.

Yep, that is funky. The AFC North’s a brutal division though. May not be any overly impressive teams but that division will wear you down and not allow points.

Always miserable when I see baltimore, Cleveland, cincy and pitt on the phins schedule
The Browns defense sucked.

Don’t worry. Just 14 more points and then Tampa will start running the plays where they score.

The only people that think Tampa can win this game are people that didn’t bother to watch Tampa this year. It’s a blah team made terrible by their coaching staff.
I was told their defense was healthy for the first time all year.
Forgot they've always been paper tigers for the most part.

The defense doesn’t really matter. The offense legitimately doesn’t try to score until the 4th quarter anyways.

Dallas is setting a record tonight...

Most missed extra points in a game - currently at 4 (previous record was 3).

Niners-Cowboys
Giants-Eagles

From both a TV ratings and historical rivalry standpoint, you probably can’t do better than that in the NFC.

And in the AFC, not market wise, but you’ve got last years Super Bowl Bengals and the widely considered 2 best teams in the Bills and Chiefs.

Next weekend is LOADED from a fan interest standpoint, IMO.

Now comes the real test for Dallas vs SF. Dak surprisingly played well. Not expecting much at this point.

He needs to play like he did last night. He does that and Dallas has a shot. They also need the defense to start getting home on the pass rush. Parsons had a ton of pressures last night but only got home once.

Brady looked like Brees at the end of his run last night. Arm looked shot. Does he think Vegas gives him a chance to win? Personally I'd take a shot with the Jets or Redskins.

Brady is tough to get to so I was encouraged they got close enough to rush his process at least.

Hopefully it wasn't a fluke but outside the garbage time yards and miscommunication on the missed deep ball Rhodes made things far less sketchy in the secondary.

I don't think it's his arm. I think at this point in his life he hates getting hit so he bails when there's pressure and doesn't step into throws. You probably can win with him, but you need to have an elite oline.

I think Dallas could easily win that game. You can throw on their corners if you have a Qb who can push it down the field. Of course Dak could also throw 3 picks

I can’t believe he’s still playing.

I’d count my blessings that I’m healthy and go do something else.

This.

Twommy's arm is/was fine last night.

He couldn't keep his eyes off the pass rush because his OL hasn't been solid this year.

First time he looked like he didn't want the smoke.

(and I don't think the Cowboys' pressure last night was as bad as I've seen other teams put on QBs this year)

I'd love to eat crow on this one, but I'm not buying any Denver or Vegas rumors involving a hotshot QB/Coach (Brady, Rodgers, Harbaugh, Payton, etc).
They both have a 0% shot at ever hosting a playoff game in the next decade.
