Should have been a fumble on Mahomes, And Reid is playing with fire keeping him in the game with that gimp
Wasn't sure if it was or not but it was funny how they waited for Jax to recover before signaling incomplete. Woulda been a 1st down with a Chiefs recovery.

As for the Philly/NYG game - to steal a phrase - it's not always the Xs and Os, some times it's about the Jimmy's and the Joe's. Philly has a lot more of each. If intact, they have the superior line play over every team in the NFL, particularly on the OL. The Gmen have a solid DL (though they lack depth) and they got bullied last night.

Speaking of coaching, HC Dabol made some baffling 4th down decisions near midfield. He might as well have waived the white flag after the second one. Meanwhile the first one told you all you needed to know about his confidence in his D to stop Philly's O.

All of that said, the NYG are heading in the right direction. They need to beef up the back seven on defense while adding weapons on the perimeter. .

Wounded Mahomes going into next week will have Bills or Bengals salivating either way.
Henne’s better than Thompson and Huntley imo

He’s better than Thompson, but I’m not sure he’s better than Huntley. Not sure it matters because Mahomes will
play on one leg. The Bengals are a worse matchup for the Chiefs with a stationary Mahomes. Buffalo has zero pass rush.

I give Chad the edge because of playoff exp.

This should be a very fun day of football. Its been a good year

Looking at a snap count analysis from last night's game - Leonard Williams played 67 plays while Dexter Lawrence played 62 for the NYG. Philly rotated nine guys on the DL and the starters averaged a snap count in the low to mid 20s. Part of that was controlling the ball and having a big lead but it's a huge advantage to keep shuttling fresh guys in there without much of a drop off. For example Brandon Graham played 12 snaps and Linval Joseph played 10. Also means they should be well rested for next week's game.

Lane Johnson is a man playing the whole game with his injury. I was surprised he played the whole time, well I turned it off with 5 min left but...

Yeah they pulled him for the last series. I wanted him out earlier.

I usually watch the Birds in person (have had season tix for twenty years) and I tend to lock in on LJ. A familiar pattern develops where the opponent often sends their best edge rusher (Thibodeaux, Parsons etc) to his side to test it out. After getting stuffed a few times they head on over to the other side and don't bother coming back. You can't bull rush him and you can't speed rush him either. Yet the NFL Network will put out their list of top 100 players and not even mention him. Crazy.

The best test for LJ awaits if SF beats Dallas today. Nick Bosa is a beast. That could be the clash of the titans.

He’s for sure better than them but it’s gonna be Mahomes anyways (who is also better than those guys obviously). Still facing banged up Mahomes is obviously easier than facing a healthy one and I’m sure Buffalo/Cinci are confident against the Chiefs even with a healthy Mahomes. Will be a tough game no matter what.

Henne also has the benefit of playing under a play caller that is far superior to what Thompson and Huntley have.
