2022 Under Armour All-America Games: July 28-31

There's no voting.

Under Armour and Inside Lacrosse take the top 44 players.

They pick all the 5 star recruits, and only the top few 4 stars.

That is not true. I think you may be confusing it with US Lacrosse All-Americans.

UA All-America Game is chosen by the IL staff (mainly Ty Xanders) with input from college coaches and other media members.
Oh. My bad.

I thought there was a tryout?

Special shoutout for Luke Rhoa. When he first committed two years ago IL listed him only as a three star. I'm not sure if that was a typo on IL's part but he's clearly grown as a player who is now solidified himself as a Power 100 recruit and UAA Game participant. I feel like I follow recruiting pretty closely and I haven't seen that kind of movement from a recruit in a long time. He's now listed as a four star.

That's for the Underclass Kids (Classes 2023-24 / 2025-26).

For the Senior Games (Class of 2022), it's the top 44.

Didn't UNC have 8 last year?
Of course, there is also the Nike National All-Star game.

Yes, they had eight. I wonder what is the most all time for one game? Eight has to be close.

Jimmy McCool makes the final wave. Gives the Orange 9 total picks. Nice work!

Looking at IL I was wondering why they haven’t ranked a 100 yet for the 22 class? Only the top 10 for now. But they did a 23 player ranking.

We don't have any recruits from the West/Southwest this year, and we didn't have anyone make the South or Baltimore teams. We're mostly LI/NJ/NE in this class.
They'll add those rosters a day or so after their tryouts.
They do have bios linked off that page - not much for those 4, except for McCarthy.

While it perhaps occurred more in the days when we knew where recruits who had finished their sophomore years were going, there were a few times when I found a Maryland commit, who hadn't at that time been listed elsewhere.

They have the Upstate roster added.
I know you don’t have the answer but they have Charlie Lockwood under Lawrenceville, I believe he played for WG this past season….looks like he transferred out.

The Lawrenceville School in NJ? That's where Quentin Kilrain is.

It doesn’t say. I’m assuming.

Was he a senior or am I thinking of Burns, I know someone was a sophomore…

Charlie was a freshman this season. Class of 25.
