2022 Yankees Season

I saw random headlines today saying was that the game of the year?

Little league kids have a higher baserunning IQ than the Yankees showed last night.

And they had so many bad at bats. Bases loaded, 1 out, wild pitcher. Gleyber and Andujar swing at 5 pitches outside the strike zone.

It wasn't the game of the year. It was gross.

Good on Cole and much of the bullpen though.

BP and Cole were excellent which is a good sign. Trivino looking good was really encouraging. Baserunning has been bad all year, at times you wonder what the hell some of these guys are thinking out there. Bigger concern is the at bats, lineup just has so many holes right now. The Gleyber and Andujar at bats were just the best examples. Getting Rizzo and Stanton back will help immensely but even they are both under .240 at this point. IKF is hitting for average which is good but the lack of power really hurts in games like this and Hicks is well Hicks. A certain shortstop at Triple A might be a nice boost for the lineup.....

there is a reason why the Yankees traded for 2 OF's, already had Carpenter and were keeping Andujar at Scranton.

wow.

Cole and the BP were bright spots for sure, but damn...its so dark and cloudy there right now i cant see it.

Nestor looks good through 4. Offense hasn't scored in 17+ innings the last two games, just killing it.

Pitching for both teams the last two games has been ridiculous. Studs stepping up. Again... elite pitching is the most important thing (and health).

Only 6 guys LOB so far.

But at least nobody TOOTBLAN'd.

Nestor with a no-no through 6. He and Cole looking good back to back is a good sign. Offensively this team feels lost despite Judge and DJ playing well. I don't know what the answer is moving forward. At this point why not call up Peraza or Volpe and hope they spark the team. Might as well bring up Florial to at this point.

Welp there goes the game. At least we wont have to worry about extra innings.
Ray has struggled with HRs this year. Will be interesting to see if we can get one back in the 7th.

He’s pacing for the most HR’s in baseball history! 4 ahead of maris pace now

I’m so glad the official record is back to 61 now** Thank god

**in my house. If you speak otherwise you get a foot deeeeeep in your arse
