Remember when Stanton was on the team? Not that he was having a great year or anything but it might have been nice if he would have sacrificed the All Star experience to get treatment and perhaps limit whatever injury he is now managing...And no, I don't believe this leg problem showed up mysteriously and immediately after the All Star frolic.

Stanton had two AB's in the ASG, hit 1 HR and struck out once. And he made just one play in the outfield.

I have to laugh at how belligerent Stanton was when reporters questioned how long he'd be out. This was the Sunday before he was sent to IL. He said things like he could PH that day and he's be in there that Tuesday.
