Yes. Can play year round in Charlotte. Occasional frost delays or a little bit of a snow but even in Richmond when I lived there, I could play most weeks (sans a few where we got snow or it was too cold). And as a northern transplant, would often have the course to myself. Loved winter golf down there. It was great.

Charlotte December 30 Weather by Year

Man most years seems a little chilly for December 30th golf. I guess it’s hit or miss. Some 70 and some 43!

Cool. I am down with Charlotte.

Spent a night at a hotel there near the airport last time we played V Tech.
Looks like a really nice city.

Not sure about Duke's mayo though. Hard to believe Hellman's can be beat.

Understand this...

I have been to a couple of Red Sox games at Fenway Park. cto hooked me up with the VIP treatment for my first one.

It is a very special facility. I love watching baseball games there. You are right on top of the field. Probably more so than any other MLB park.

The unique character of the place makes games more interesting. All the history is awesome.

I like watching baseball games at Yankee Stadium as well. Great facility. Wonderful modern amenities and food selection. Awesome history (kind of given it is a newish park).

But it is awful to watch a football game in a baseball stadium. Under the best of circumstances. The seats point in the wrong direction. There are no good seats. It is hard to enjoy watching football games at baseball stadia even going to watch my alma mater play.

The fact that these games are scheduled in late December makes a really bad situation a lot worse.

The fact that I live in a cold weather location and I pine for going to a warm weather location to get away from that for a bit when I go to a bowl game makes things even worse.

I love baseball stadia. For watching baseball games only. Okay, maybe a Beatles concert too. ;)

No more SU football games in baseball stadiums. Ever again. Please.

Pardon me, but where is OSU? (Other than Columbus.)
Presumably they would have 2 losses in this scenario and would be bumped. ACC guaranteed to get the Orange Bowl.

Pitt and Syracuse will both try and avoid getting exiled to The Bronx twice in the winter this season.

I am hoping it ends up like this for the northern ACC flank:

Fenway: BC 6-6 (they deserve each other)
Pinstripe: Pitt 7-5 (unfortunate but someone has to go)
Military: Syracuse 7-5 (guessing they would really like to have us)
Best thing we have going for us is we travel well and everybody knows it. I imagine we have tons of alumni in the area.

Annapolis is cool and a great trip. If health allows we would love to go.

Call me crazy but are we sure Colorado is even going to be bowl eligible? They do have 3 games left where they’ll be favored in Stanford, Arizona state and Arizona but they probably cannot afford to drop any of those. The other games are Oregon state, (at) WSU, USC, (at) UCLA and (at) Utah. (Not in that order)

Really hope we have a nice warm weather bowl for Shrader’s presumably last season. Also, whatever bowl we get I hope we win!!

A game with one of these high powered PAC teams would be fun.
I agree that it would be fun and we don’t play them much if at all. East coast game will get a better SU fan turn out though I would think.

Would love Colorado in a rematch of 93 fiesta bowl.
