Yes, it stinks. Coach Beck was super loyal to him and he did not reciprocate. That kind of thing happens with entitled teenagers. Especially ones that grew up in a football crazed SEC state where most of the people he knows worship the state school. This is really Clemson's fault. That loss to South Carolina legitimated that program and gave them a lot of momentum.

But here is the thing. LaNorris is a bad fit for the offense Beamer hired as his new OC. And South Carolina's roster is loaded with QBs whose skill set is a fit with the pro style offense that failed bonehead is going to try and install there.

No doubt in my mind the South Carolina offense is going to struggle with this clown in charge. No doubt in my mind he will try anyone but the dual threat QB to try and get things moving.

No doubt in my mind that LaNorris is going to realize he made a huge mistake and will transfer out after the first semester of fall 2023 and look for a program that runs a scheme that suits his skill set.

He belongs at Syracuse. And that is the place he will end up at. I expect we will still get him. Yes, he will lose a year of training in the Syracuse system and that will hurt him but he will still come in with the starting job at QB wide open in 2024 (after Garrett graduates) and will still have the spring and summer to learn the system and get ready to do damage.

At this point, no point. If they want a HS kid, it will need to be NOT a guy signing early. So first off, hold out hope until it’s officially lost, but then next week they can decide who is still available that they would want, and then go after that guy.
