2023 NFL Thread

Holy crap the giants had a shot and threw it away . 3rd and 20 down 20-18 and eagles convert? Then on 3rd and 1 Tyrone under throws a sure TD pass to Waller. Then on 4th and 1 you call that ridiculous low percentage pass ?

Not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite like this. It’s definitely possible this was gonna turn into a safety anyways but the ref slide tackling the QB in the end zone is taking “Refs impact the game too much” to a whole new level.

Lawrence is a very good QB. He had a bad ankle sprain a few weeks ago and didn’t miss a game but there’s no chance he’s close to 100%.

Purdy getting ‘picked’ on tonight.
This is unreal. I'm glad I had my fantasy matchup wrapped up before Brock decided to barf all over himself (granted the Ravens are very good)

There are definitely some bad breaks here but man, these guys have been smoked by a good AFC team on their home field three times the last two years.
Bills / dolphins / likely ravens … have defeated the NFCs best in the last two weeks.. and bills should have beat the eagles if not for stupidity and a 60 yard FG in a driving rain

What a crazy NFL Christmas Day.
Raiders dominate at KC, Giants have a chance late to beat a heavily favored Eagles team and Ravens absolutely mauling the Niners in San Fran.

Some of the turnovers were a bit fluky. I still say they are the favorite to make the SB in the NFC. Baltimore doesn’t get enough credit. They clearly have been the best team in the AFC all season.

Feels like MVP should be CMC or Tyreek IMO. If you insist on a QB, it’s down to Lamar and Allen IMO but both would be underwhelming MVPs.

There is also the crazy theory that we could wait till the games are all played
Well yeah, obviously. But I don’t think there’s enough time left for anyone else to enter the picture. Nobody else has been good enough regardless of whatever happens in the final two games. The final two games may eliminate one of these 4 guys.

I will say this however, Jackson has 24 total TD and Allen has 40. Jackson has about 400 fewer passing yards and a lower qbr (63 vs 71.6). Jackson has rushed for 786 yards vs 413for JA.
16 TD is ALOT to make up for and I don’t think Allen’s 15 Int vs 7 for Lamar makes up the difference

I find it interesting that a huge company like ESPN can have web pages that break and dont get fixed in any timely fashion.. IE the playoff machine at the time of year people use it most and its been broken for days.

If our job had a page that was broken you fix it, or replace it with a stub that says we know there is an issue. You dont just leave it dangling day after day.

Threads on social sites all over complaining and nothing..

Allen isn’t winning MVP unless the Bills win the division.

I think it’s McAffrey if the Niners get the number 1 seed. Been a pretty down year for QB’s overall.
I think it SHOULD be CMC (or possibly Tyreek if he finishes the season strong), but it certainly feels like everyone is desperate to find a QB to give it too.

Agree Allen probably won’t get serious consideration if Buffalo is a wild card team (and obviously not if they collapse and miss the playoffs).

It's ridiculous

I think MVP is going to be one of Lamar/Tua/Josh

All depends on who finishes strong at the end here
