Is it me or does Villari look to be in much better shape than last season?

My suspicion has been confirmed. I thought I saw big #96 working with the TE's in a video on twitter.

Elijah Wright, 6'3", 281 lbs., redshirt sophomore walk-on from Syracuse has moved to TE from defensive line.

Shrader spoke well of him and indicated the move was made last spring.

Appears to be lined up next to JCruz.

He looks like a 315-pound athletic OL. looks like a starter check out the knee bend and hips

Consistent winning is the issue there.

The casual fan doesn’t care about this stuff like we do.

I think it's both. I grew up in a town an hour from Syracuse, McNabb years. I'd still call a lot of people I knew casual fans. But they were still interested in what was going on and if there was a big recruit or a recruit with a lot of potential, people wanted to read about that. Even practice reports casuals would at least look at from time to time. Rough years make a big difference but you can't draw more casuals in by barely marketing the team.

Small sample size but two really encouraging plays. Catching a pass with good coverage and than nice blocking against first team D on a run play.

He’s in great shape. Dude works hard. Wouldn’t bet against him.

He does look a bit fitter - have to say though - nice catch but was that film slowed down?

I love to hear who the players think is stepping up. I have also heard Peña mentioned at receiver. On the defensive side so far hearing Jobity, Jacquez, Sparrow and Oliver as well.

FYI both Barron and Marlowe mentioned Zyian Moultrie-Goddard as a guy that has stuck out. Barron also mentioned Jalil Martin and Marlowe also mentioned Kadin Bailey.
