I'm OK with him not coming back at all. That trade was a terrible idea, he was cooked and IKF was just a placeholder.

It's been super expensiveGio has 3.5 WAR for ~$15m and Donaldson & IKF have ~5 WAR for $54m. $39m for 1.5 WAR. Nice job, Cash. Could have gotten something nice for that, maybe a LFer who didn't suck.

Oh, yeah, they also got a catcher who hasn't been healthy and hasn't gotten into 50 games yet.

They're currently carrying 6 guys in the lineup who either can't hit anymore or never could.
