Keeler was at Delaware for a decade and won a national title there in 2003. It's a proximity gamble for Temple and a last big paycheck before retirement for Keeler.

That would be interesting. He is a Midwest guy through and through but found. Way to succeed in the west with UNLV.

I guess with WVU playing so much in the Midwest and West, it makes some sense.

Things I didn't know - Houston Baptist changed their name to Houston Christian. Not a big deal, I know, but I remember this guy from a few Houston Baptist games I went to with a buddy of mine whose son was on the team. At that time he was the youngest coordinator in FCS/FBS, IIRC. My buddy told me that he expected him to be a head coach one day. Nice to see that pan out for him.
