Keatts gone at NC State, even though they made Final Four last year. Makes me wonder if we didn’t make the ACC tourney, would Red really have been back (I know probably yes).

Pretty telling of the relative seriousness of our respective athletic departments. It's not like they are a program that has an overabundance of F4s.

Tough to compete with programs that are actually making an effort to... compete.

Keats would have been gone last year but their big man had an epiphany last Feb and went on a diet and got into shape. They probably realize that is not going to happen again.

I was just going to say the same thing. Nc State went to final 4 last year & Keatts has better winning percentage than Cuse last 8 years...Not serious...

Wonder if the Boozer twins will follow. Would love to see that just to despite Duke.

Read somewhere that Lucas was the lead recruiter and is very close to the Boozer boys. Also, he is considering hiring as an assistant the boys current high school coach.

Just wait until we win a couple of games in the ACCT before getting boat-raced...

What have you done for me lately? How does a final four coach, ACC tourney winner a year ago not get another year to turn things around? At least he gets a nice buyout. If it were me I would take the next ACC opening there is and live to blow out the Pack.
