2024-25 NBA Season / Playoffs

Really disappointed with Indy. Like what planet are Siakam, Turner and Neismith on right now? There is no tomorrow for your season. Assistant Best Buy manager TJ McConnell is their entire offense.

Siakam gets it. The moment appears to be too big for Mathurin as well.

I didn’t know he had a partial tear. Only a calf strain. My assumption—not even playing a doctor on tv— was that everything he did to rehab the calf, in an an intense hurry, may have weakened or overstressed the Achilles.
We don’t know the truth . But this is the exact same thing that happened with KD. Supposed “calf strain” followed by Achilles tear. Coincidence ? Maybe .

They were going to lose this game if Halle Berry wasn’t injured
You're using a hypothetical outcome based on an injury to discount all of the other winning OKC actually had all season.

We don't know if Haliburton was healthy whether it changes the result of this series.

We do know that OKC had a historically great regular season and won 4 consecutive playoff series.

Like I said. Fraudulent

In any event, OKC is going to be a problem for a long time.

It's not often you look at a team that won the championship and say they're on the rise and have the potential to get better, but that's OKC.

They could just rely on internal improvement and not even make any free agency, trade or draft moves, and still get better barring injuries. Between the draft picks and movable contracts they have they're well positioned to make moves if they want though. Wild stuff.

I hope Luka was watching this and realized he needs to not be fat.

Enjoying the feedback online.

Seems we’re all in agreement about one thing.

ESPN’s NBA coverage from pre game to game coverage to post is the worst network sports coverage in sports history.

It’s game 7 of the nba finals and they’re doing wacky 70s R&B songs going to comercial. It had all the gravitas of a regular season WNBA game. SAS is literally screaming about nothing at half. It was an absolute mess all season.

Now hold on there just one minute.
No way ESPN would do such a bad job on a WNBA game.

but if he enjoys eating and relaxing more than winning...I don't know if he can overcome the lack of fitness.

Copy cat league - teams are going to start guarding like never before. OKC plays mid-range and plays great D with no smurfs.

That’s basically what Houston tried too. They just couldn’t score.

I was astounded at the number of times they showed the injury yesterday. That was brutal. If it was a football game and a player blew out his knee, they show it a couple times. Maybe.

I still play regularly and can barely watch when they show a guy roll his ankle. To see the actual tear and recoil in slow motion made me sick. And then they showed it 15 more times!

I've had 3 guys tear an Achilles while playing. It’s awful. To do it in that moment is so hard for Hali and his teammates. But like Steve said, I just wanted to watch a close game.
