The board has been wrong more times than not deciding what players to target. Not sure we want to consider what we think. We are proven idiots.

I could see where Henry might not want to compete directly with his younger brother for a starting position. Or where it could be a wonderful time for him to be a teammate with his brother.

Pretty sure it came down to SU and Duke when Henry chose a college. So if he goes, Syracuse will probably be strongly considered. If not SU, I could see him possibly transfer to Vanderbilt. That is where his dad went.

I don’t think the staff wants to limit who they will consider adding as a QB from the portal. Pretty clear the add does not necessarily need to have starting experience. Or even any real playing experience.

I think they want someone with the right soft skills who is smart and can throw. If they can run too, all the better.

Doesn’t appear they care strongly if the transfer is a frosh, or a senior or anything in between. I know they value smarts and character and I am pretty sure Henry is covered on those fronts.

Not saying this guy is the guy. But I think if he portals, he will probably get a visit. Or at least an invitation to visit.
