I have to admit, I hate the portal but I love the portal for what it can be. It adds a whole new twist to recruiting.

It's not a good system.

A possible variation:

1. allow players to transfer with instant eligibility just once
   [this goes along with the current system and is better than the previous system]
2. allow players to transfer with a year delayed eligibility (not impacting their number of years of eligibility) just once
   [this is an enhancement to the previous system]
3. all subsequent transfers by a player require a year of eligibility and will cost them a year of eligibility (a red shirt year would be OK)
   [back to the old school rules after a player has already transferred twice]

Courts won't allow any going back to previous rulings. Unless there is a contract with the players as a union, you can forget any going back.

I checked out some of Rickie Collins' film from the LSU Spring game and won't be mad if the staff reaches out. Liked what I saw.

He just has a weird hitch before he throws, scares me. Kinda throws it like Jacobian Morgan.

The a&m offense was pretty crappy every time I saw it. Granted it was against ND and Texas… but ND is on the schedule.

I would take a pass here.

He does not have character issues.


He came on a visit with Dino and while on the visit was posting photos from his Purdue visit and that rubbed people wrong.

His younger brother is high on our target list.
