SEC is allocating more $ to FB. It sorta proves what I surmised in another thread. Hoops coaches are fleeing the SEC, because there’s more cash dedicated to buying hoops players in other conferences.

6 of the top 13 and 7 of the top 25 recruiting/transfer classes belong to ACC schools including us at 7. There’s no excuse for the ACC to be as bad next year. A lot of schools have upped their talent level.

Does anyone else really like the kid from Rochester now at FSU? Fav player is Melo. Wears his number. Had an amazing highlight tape from his year at Hampton. Good size with some offensive skills. Got buried at FSU but had some good games including against us.

A couple of observations--

He lists just one of SU's 3 incoming players. (Maybe he didn't predict the other 2, and is only list those he had the scoop on?)

Also, a substantial percentage of the players coming to the ACC are mid-major transfers.

Does anyone else really like the kid from Rochester now at FSU? Fav player is Melo. Wears his number. Had an amazing highlight tape from his year at Hampton. Good size with some offensive skills. Got buried at FSU but had some good games including against us.

Jerry Deng. Good shooter from both inside (.571) and the 3 point line (.370) . Not much of a rebounder for his 6’9” size but good scorer. Have no idea about his defense - no stats there stand out. Would be a good bench piece with 2 more years of eligibility if there’s room. Scored double digits against UNC, Duke, SMU and us in 4 of his last 5 games. Haven’t heard his name in the portal though despite a new coach coming in. Thanks he is an interesting player.
