It looks like Lowe is looking elsewhere since Donaldson signed with Miami. Huge surprise. Everyone was saying he was all Miami because his godfather is the coaches father. Carolina is now involved. I think if I was Miami I would take Lowe over Donaldson. Several ACC players are going to other ACC schools.

They’re much smaller private schools, by and large (except UConn), and so that’s a lot of money to budget from the university fund.

I'm very pleased so far with the pickups by Red and company. Much better than last year. I just hope they can cap it off with a solid starting center. I'm starting to get vibes of striking out (sorta like last year at the PG spot) so we end up with a guy who is a good back up center being pushed into the starting role instead.

If you're right, we can get by with 2 back up level centers.

But I think Williams will be pretty good for us, and I don't share your strike out vibes.

I'm sure this has been said many times before, but i haven't really been watching the tournament, so it's a fresher, 'louder' thought for me:

Absolutely ridiculous, that the portal is open and hyper-active before the actual end of the season for the 'best' teams. How can anyone justify this? Is this a way of instituting competitive balance, so that these teams still in it are at a disadvantage? Just dumb. I know coaches have talked about this, but it's not the first year with this timeline, is it?
