Or are you commenting on people on the BOT being willing to cross Fran & Melo on NIL? I didn't really understand what's being said with that 2nd point.

I don't believe AW will be welcomed back in the fold no matter who makes the effort. I don't know what I don't know about it. I do know what I tried to do. Who I talked to and the reaction to my efforts. And the reaction I got from KS. I will report everything soon. The reason I have held back is that I am pretty sure that the PS is going to do a story on it and I don't want to step on their story.

I really tried. And I really thought I could pull it off. I contacted three BOT's. Including
one I have known for 32 years. They wouldn't lift a finger. I am going to leave it at that for the time being. But I didn't quit at that point.

Will we eventually find out why some at Syracuse are so butt hurt at AW? I mean, I understand that they didn't see eye to eye with what he did will the whole celebrity to games things but I assume there is a lot more to the story because this seems crazy not to try to work something out with him (provided that he really wants that and is willing to be somewhat flexible in his approach).

Well hopefully their story is able to tell all sides of the story. What annoys me is to be inundated with one side, here and on social media. Then hear and see most of the people I know just blindly nod their heads because someone has boat loads of $ to potentially spin a narrative that a college can’t refute or counter. To believe, the college, for no reason at all decided to wash their hands of a multi $$$ (whatever he is) is ridiculous story to believe on its own. Then to have that person play victim for the last 2-3 years, over and over. Continue to drag SU’s name through the mud in the name of “I want to help SU” feels fake, entitled and self serving. I teach middle schoolers, the fact this has been going on for this long is as childish and immature as anything I see from kids who don’t know any better.

And not a surprise in today’s world, everyone laps it up and gets in line to give him reach arounds. At least let’s use some common sense and assume that maybe there’s two sides to the story. At the very least.

Jeff Knauss is pushing a new elite membership only networking group, I think with the other guy, the motivational speaker.

I saw Jeff speak at a church in Valley during COVID. It was an entrepreneurship event sponsored by SU and the church, to foster new businesses among inner city folks.

I work with these people all the time. We are talking about people opening cleaning businesses, transport businesses to take elderly people to and from medical appointments. People starting food truck businesses, small restaurants, car detailing, construction businesses. This was the audience.

And he was talking to them about investing in crypto.

I thought to myself, this dude has never been poor. He has no idea at all who these people are, and what they need to do to improve their lives. Trust me, it wasn't crypto.

A lot of phony people out there nowadays, because of the fun-house distortion of social media. Life is so fake, and people are so full of it.

I have no information at all but this is way more simple than people want to admit.

We have a group of super rich old white dudes that have dug themselves in multiple years now with comments both in private and social media.

Neither AW, JAB, the BoT or Lally can stomach saying they were misguided in the past on what they did and said or how things went down.

Not withstanding the social media posts that will inevitably come when and if the relationship is repaired. These guys would rather die than have people out there saying "Told you So" or "You were wrong all along"

Personally I could care less, but if Melo says it's cool, them I'm cool what what he thinks is best.

Hopefully Melo can be the peacemaker and we can get all parties pulling the same direction. We're all in the same gang.

Really feeling way better about our portal additions. After seeing UK’s radio guy tweet that he thinks they have a top 5-8 roster after getting Aberdeen from Florida. I looked at their additions and not really impressed. They got Lowe at PG from Pitt, I think George is better. They got Quantance from Arizona St who will be coming off a torn ACL so who knows how that may affect him. Dioubate from Bama and Kam Williams from Tulane to round it out.

Of course they have a huge advantage with Mark Pope being a great coach. Getting these guys to their potential. But my point stands I think our additions can stand up to some of the top teams. Not to mention we have JJ and Freeman coming back.
