Just need a high OBP in front of Judge. Don't really need a speed guy there since they'll be less likely to risk getting CS with Judge up. Then if they do steal the pitcher will just IBB Judge to the empty base anyway.

His overall OBP was not good last year, but I guess during his strong July-August stretch it was very good. They are hoping that is the real Wells. Really, the only good OBP guy on the team is Judge and they don't seem interested in him leading off.
