My plan would be to fire Schoen and bring in a real GM who can build a team. Do NOT take a QB in the draft. Preferably trade down for a sucker who wants to overreach on a weak QB class. Build up the OL and the rest of the team. Keep Daboll and tank next year. Then go all in on Arch.

You are not wrong, but I think back to the 2018 draft for two reasons. One, obviously the Giants never should have taken a RB as the overall #2 pick. #2, I believe five QB's were taken in the 1st round, four in the top ten. Mayfield, Danold, Allen and Rosen. And then 32nd was Lamar Jackson. Then the year before Mitch Trubitsky was taken 2nd overall and Patrick Mahomes picked 10th.

So can either Ward or Sanders turn into Jackson, Allen or Mahomes or are they Mitch Trubitsky and Josh Rosen. No one knows.

But I do think unless it's someone who has previwork with Daboll, a new GM is going to want their own coach.

There are so many holes on the roster (thanks Schoen) that even a good QB won't make a difference. Heck look at the Bears who are 4-10 and have a better QB IMO than either of the two available in this upcoming draft. Neither guy is a franchise guy IMO, they are Geno 2.0 and Baker 2.0 which is better than we got but not worth a Top 5 pick and not game changing.
