Morgan can still play, but Emma Hayes wanted to move onto the future and make no mistake that this is her team. Also, they needed to get Rapinoe out of the locker room. It was so nice to see the entire team sing the National Anthem at the Gold Medal ceremony today.

Congratulations to our new generation of ladies and our new coach! They survived a relentless Brazilian attack in that first half. Any other team would have given up three goals.
