Former SU recruit (same class as Buddy) and Notre Dame & Mercer guard Robby Carmody allegedly will enter the portal. This would be his 7th* (!) year. Played 500 minutes with Mercer last year and shot 38% from three. Before that he was rarely able to get on the court. He's missed A LOT of time due to injury. He supposedly has one more year of eligibility left.

After this year, he will have one more year of eligibility, but he is not yet committed to playing at Mercer for his final year of college basketball. If an opportunity to play overseas arises, Carmody said that he would jump at it. But still, he has a season ahead of him with new teammates, in a new arena and with new opponents.
