It’s almost like some of us said this exact thing would happen. Nil yearly contracts are ending, all the portal and coaching movement, nba draft movement, etc.

Theres a reason I’ve reference the Aaron Rodger relax video and Xanax a million times over the course of this off-season.

Yeah, i was gonna chime in to echo others' thoughts that there need to be earlier deadlines for entering the portal, and then comes the thing about a NIL package not being fully paid to a player, and i recognize there are some outside, dynamic factors that contribute to these decisions. To institute different deadlines, the whole NIL thing would have to be (more?) highly regulated.

It's all so ugly and so stupid and can't be sustainable. Not getting a handle on this is just showing zero foresight. I just wonder when and what will be the catalyst for the next significant change.
