Agree. Long term we need big donors, grassroots and also businesses stepping up. They’re a key group that hasn’t been really that involved yet.Agree in whole on the 1st paragraph. Not sure that $4 million per year is achievable at Syracuse unless there is a huge bump in the grassroots donors as you state. The bigger donors will get you original funding but with the money being spent each year it will be the little guys that keep it going. I just question whether Syracuse can get to your number on an annual basis. I certainly hope so.
Basketball is easier as the number is smaller.
And of course, there are other sports too. Long term you’d want to reward everyone but have to take care of football and basketball first.
