I like that the MLB TV deal is flexible like that. NBA is locked into it's Finals date even if both the ECF and WCF are sweeps. Not sure about the NHL deal.

Baseball is the ultimate hindsight but Boone is probably going to get torched by fans after this one if (or when) we lose.

What kills me about this coaching staff is the predetermined nature of some decisions. With a taxed bullpen and Gil looking good in the 4th inning maybe try and let him get through 5. During that 4th inning Hill was warming up. If a baserunner got on in the 4th and Kwan came up in the 4th Gil was going to get pulled. Kwan ended up leading off the 5th and Hill was the pitcher. It was predetermined that Gil was only going to be allowed to face the Guardians lineup twice no matter how he looked.

Wells has been great on defense. Treat him like a light hitting catcher and bat him 8th going forward. Rather see Stanton hitting 4th but if they must have a lefty in there put Rizzo at the 4th spot.

For next season Berti, Rice, Cabrera are all better defensive options at 1B than the defensive corpse of Rizzo.
